been going down the voice dictation rabbit hole lately. Wispr Flow, Granola, Freeflow, VoiceOS, Whisper, speech-to-text, local AI, voice interfaces. there's a lot happening in this space, but one question keeps coming back, why isn't voice a native input layer for computing?
It's weird how disconnected our devices still feel. I just want to move something from my phone to my laptop without opening 3 apps, dealing with background processes or checking if they're on the same network. why is this still so hard in 2026?
